God is not after anything - he created us. In a world of delusion, one must enlighten, and choose a righteous path. He awaits our return - the purpose of being human.
It is the Devil who obstructs it, taking advantage of our desires at every turn to "go after it".
Don't give it to him. Be righteous. Live it.
Well ..... There is one little item left out of the equation .... you yourself ...
This is why I pray to be weak. Many do not understand. Many do understand.
In my weakness I am still stronger than the mighty foe with Him though.
Many desire to be tried by the Devil as Lot was and many others. Much sadness and much pain is in that road for the one who proclaims to God he is as Lot was.
I am not and I pray for the meekness that God loves.
For those with that ambition — I hope and pray you can do what is for you to do. My faith in God is engrained in my soul.
