They give that shit to every pregnant woman, who will allow them to, around 28 weeks, no matter if they just had one last year during a different pregnancy. It's so infuriating and I wish women would start saying no. I am suspicious they are causing IUGR, (growth retardation). I started noticing it and looking at what week the dtap was given and then when the iugr was dx'd. I am not a doctor just a med coder but I notice trends. I think there are other complication from them but this was one that I noticed and seem to correlate. Obviously other causes or just complications in general can happen with pregnant women.
Not to mention the prenatal vitamins, overdosing people on iron that they don't need.
What's the deal with the iron?
Well, they push it aggressively to all pregnant mothers saying that it supposedly makes kids smarter, yet I've seen zero evidence that today's kids are smarter at all compared to kids born without all the supplementation. And obviously the Amish and many other cultures don't do it. So I'm naturally suspicious. Related to autism? Maybe, but the trend correlates even though vaccines are probably way more important and more definitively linked.
On the other hand, it contributes to obesity.

And there are a few other things too that may just be coincidence, but I've become very cynical about anything that doctors push, and they push iron supplements a lot.
Here are a few more, but about different things. It's really the first link that checks out and matches my own observations.

They do the same with Vitamin A. A huge amount of which comes from fish oil.
