to cut off the meeting in the middle of debate might be a violation of the law, but if there is no one to enforce that law, what does it matter? also, these people voted for those politicians, now what are they going to do about them?

Where are the backbones of other council members? They allowed her to talk over all of the citizens and adjourn the meeting. Remove them all from office and freeze their pay until they step down.

Let those "council members" leave and continue the meeting without them, just ignore them like they think they can ignore the citizens.
