Re-learned something about comedy this week. When the object of the joke has slid too far down the pitifully true scale, there's no surprise left for the joke. Thus Barnie is this week's winner.
When I was in college, the profound question of the day was "if a tree falls in a forest and no one hears it, does it make a sound?" In the hay day of genuine hippies, it just got old. Too much time on meaningless pretension / artifice ruined it for me. Sorry.
Got to note that I love the Sunday funnies. Brings back memories of diving into the colored Sunday funnies after church and after the Sunday pot roast. Thank you.
Encouragement? Well, life in the US is beginning to resemble several memes, so sure. But we're watching a movie, so there's that. Thanks Uncle Fester.
Amen.

As we get closer to the election, the Sunday Funnies keep getting funnier.
Hated the one about processed food…
Bud Weisser gave me flashbacks to the TV dude who posted the "Ho Lee Phuck" names. Any chance he's at it again w/ Bud's arrest?
