One class will easily use a 1000. Then 200 a week for good slow practice. You are back for another 2k before you know it. If it's an hour drive to those bulk prices, save the gas and 3 hours, buy 2k.
For real? At one time you could buy spam cans of 7.62x54r for 80 dollars which had 480 rounds per can or double per crate. You also get discounts buying bulk.
About .60 a round last time I was in their. That was for Winchester green tip ammo, they had Spanish and other cheeper ammo,I don't remember the price.
I should go buy more,I probably only have a thousand rounds or so.
When I would take my daughter shooting when she was young we would go through 400 rounds each of 22lr. She learned shooting with my S&W P22 pistol. I would regularly buy 20 of those 100 round CCI plastic boxes of 22lr at WalMart. Nobody ever batted an eye. Maybe living in Texas helps, or maybe they thought 22lr was no big deal but 22lr has killed a LOT of people in history so caliber shouldn't matter.
WTH -- 2,000 rounds ?!?!?
For home defense, I get it maybe 100 or so per purchase. But 2k should ring alarms !!!
Nah... you should step up your ammo game. Buy in bulk of a thousand or more at a time. Shoot a little and keep stackin' that lead bullion.
No. You or anyone else does not get to determine when an alarm goes off for ammo purchases.
THIS! ☝️
The seller reserves that right.

Uh huh....
You opt to spew full on bull 💩
If that's the case, I'm setting off tsunami warnings.....
Are you retarded?
1k box of 223 is smaller than a shoebox. So 2k rounds is the size of a Nike box.really not that much
🤦♂️

One ammo box is 2000. It is a common purchase. Especially for a new purchase. You want to shoot your new rifle.
You should visit my local army surplus store.
They mostly sell ammo by the case. To buy two cases is nothing.
Bet it costs something though.

I went through 300 rounds of .22LR just yesterday.
It took about an hour with setup included..
