My wife is an RN and has mentioned several times that women that don't have kids are at a higher risk for several life threatening ailments that mothers usually aren't.
Yes...not all of us are fortunate to have our own, but I was blessed to have my children from my husband's first marriage and they are a blessing! π

Breast Cancer is one of them. π
I know. I couldnβt have children and ended up adopting one. Sheβs 40 now. I was told Iβd be at a higher risk for breast for not having any kids.
Sorry that you couldn't have one of your own, but you have my utmost respect for taking on the role for a child that needed a mother.

And I was told I was at higher risk for breast cancer because I was 35 when my first was born.
