No, this has nothing to do with Q, but it may have something to do with Amazon's warehouse.
For the last few months we have been receiving items we never ordered and we never paid for along with the item/items we DID order. I stopped calling because they just say to keep it.
Yesterday, my order for a baking thermometer for my bread came along with a HUGE bag of something called Krach lemonade powder. I wouldn't order something like that nor would I drink it. 17% sodium in it.
Hubby works in receiving at Home Depot and he came up with an explanation. He thinks that the things we receive and didn't order are coming from overstock they cannot get rid of. He said he could see a manager telling the shippers to throw a package in orders just to get rid of the items.
Has anyone else been getting unordered items in their Amazon deliveries?
Just for giggles; a few years ago we got a slip in our mailbox that there was a delivery too big and we needed to pick it up. I had no idea what it could be. When I got to the post office there was a HUGE commercial sink delivered to me. Of course, I refused delivery and they sent it back. Once again, I had never been charged for the huge sink. 🤣
Its called “brushing”

Looked at the article. I may still have some of those seeds from China sitting in the shipping container in my closet.
Dang, fren, you should have let that sink in. 😂
Cute! !
Not exactly the same instance as yours: I ordered a set of mud flaps from Amazon - the packed I received had FIVE FREAKING sets in it (20 mud flaps). I checked my order to make sure I hadn't accidentally ordered five sets - I had not. Called Amazon customer service and they told me to just keep them.
Happened to me a few years ago, and as a previous commenter stated, it is called "brushing." Companies send you stuff and then write a fake review of their product in hopes of generating more orders. Contact Amazon and file a report, and it should stop, at least it did for me. And Amazon allows you to keep the product, although you may have no use for it other than to throw it away.
Don't throw it away! Send it to my wife and she'll sell it on eBay lol
But why are these items only coming with legitimate orders? It's like a bonus item thrown in, not a separate regular order.
I heard of a scam of getting packages with scam qr codes but havent experienced this.
Yep , weird. Stuff that at one time MIGHT have been in a cart ..... 2 shipments in the last couple months.
So put items in my cart and then delete them to get them free? Nice!
I ordered a Steam Deck(gaming handheld) and got two... My friend's kid was blown away when I gave it to him randomly.
I have never received extra items but wish I would.
Yeah, the only extra items I get are with grocery deliveries, and they're usually terrible. Like the really bad string cheese I got, or the pack of Diet Coke. Although, I traded that Diet Coke for something I like, so whatever.
I ordered a package of Pmag base plates which is 3, and i got 9 from Amazon and 3 directly from Magpul.. wtf?
I’ll bet Someone ( like a restaurant or event center) has a wrong shipping address listed with Amazon on one of their approved credit cards. Are they all commercial size?
The person ordering probably barely glances at the “ship to” address.
But these "bonus items" are coming only with items the user legitimately ordered.
Let that sink in.
