Either this isn't genuine or it's not current. I'm in WA state with one of the highest gas taxes in the country and I'm paying 3.50 or so. I'm east of the cascades mind you.
I am in California and I paid 5.89 today. California is consistently three dollars above most states. They have a special way of refining gas that is supposed to pollute less.
Judging how the rest of the state is managed, i highly doubt there's anything extra in their gasoline. I was just doubting that my gas was as cheap as the beautiful land of AZ.
Yeah that sounds like a lie to justify higher costs, common from Californian politicians.
Arizona uses the same mix as CA (comes from CA). Those pictures are real but not taken on the same day, there's a difference, but not THAT big.
What mix are we talking about here? Is this how they justify the price? By saying it's a special mixture? It's gasoline, did they add tree bark to it?
MTBF IIRC, supposedly makes it burn cleaner, but the additive itself causes cancer.
Local taxes make a huge difference, too. If I go to a neighboring county, I can get gas $1.00/gal cheaper!
3.60 in SE Michigan.
