The "Iron Dome" is looking a lot more like an Iron colander as Iranian missiles overwhelm & penetrate Israel's anti-missal defense system.
🇮🇱 ISRAEL F✡R LAST 🕎
That's it. That's the post.
October day 1. 30 more to go.
Edit: here's some video of the missiles clearly hitting the ground despite what Israel and US media is claiming https://www.instagram.com/p/DAly9fiyZva/?igsh=MTJzY3luejg3dWJ6dw==
The Iron Done was never meant to be able to handle incoming missiles by the dozens. The drums for those guns only hold a few hundred rounds, and it takes a few minutes to reload them, too. Plus, the linkless ammunition loading system will jam and fail if the guns have to fire for long periods of time. Clearing them when they jam is a bitch and, often, they will have to tear the gun's LALS system down completely to fix it. If the jam is bad enough, it can take a whole gun emplacement down for a day or two, or longer, depending on parts availability.
The Iron Dome system is a missile system, not a munitions system.
Does that work like the Phalanx machine gun that naval destroyers use to defend against oncoming missiles?
