People in the bleachers were holding up a banner that says "Jesus" during this song. It was awesome. Epic day all around!
I saw that and took a picture!
Glad you could make it! That was a great experience. That was my first time hearing live opera. He has one powerful voice!
Excited for you Humble!
Thanks for posting this fren! β¨β€οΈ
My pleasure. So amazing. Love this song so much.
The harmonies are so beautiful especially when dung as a duet. Music is healing...
Here's Andrea Bocelli and his daughter Virginia singing...

WOW. π₯Ή
That's awesome
Me too! Thanks for posting.
The voice. Chills.
Ditto that!

That is not the "Hallelujah Chorus." He is actually singing "Nessun Dorma," from Puccini's opera Turandot.
this is the same song that Trump used to close the RNC this year, and it's also heard at the end of the movie The Sum of All Fears.
It's Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah." A beautiful song in its own right. Featured in Shrek at the very end, although written long before. (Not to knock this singer at all, who I'll happily enjoy listening to whatever he decides to sing, but Cohen's gravelly voice seems more authentic to the spirit of desperation in the song.)
Jeff Buckley's version is great too
I'll check it out. Another anon posted Andrea Bocelli's version. It was pretty sweet.
sorry about that - I saw two of Macchio's songs at the rally but somehow missed the other three? Not into Shrek either - "schreck" is the German word for "fright"
It's all good. Only mentioned Shrek because it was a big movie, so lots of people know the song only because of the movie. But it's a good song; worth reading the lyrics.
Wonder how many kids he preyed on...
π somebody didn't watch the video π
certainly wasn't the 'Hallelujah' I was expecting either, fren. Watch the vid.
