I feel so useless cause I can help. I am an experienced hiker. I can get to these people. I have the equipment and know how. I have hiked all over the Cascades, Rockies and Great Smokey National Park actually.
Cheapest direct flight from Seattle to Charlotte is $417. Then I would have to rent a car which looking right now is $453.80 for an all wheel drive SUV. That plus food and gas for myself would be give or take $1,500 and I can’t afford that this fucking inflation. Wife and I are barely above paycheck to paycheck.
This all sucks. The world just feels so unjust. Out here in libtard Seattle the only people who are paying attention to this and care are working class people like me, my friends, some of my coworkers and some of the people at my BJJ gym. Most are completely clueless or just don’t give a fuck. The Tesla driving limousine liberal tech workers have the money and time to help but they don’t fucking care.
The people with their hearts in the right place don’t have the money and the people with the money don’t have their hearts in the right place. If $1500 fell into my lap I would be getting geared up and roll out.
Take heart, I'm in rural Washington, I was in town just today, escorted someone to the ER so I was in the ER waiting room, the pharmacy, and the grocery store. EVERYONE was talking about Helene. Small towns know.

There are sooo many in the charlotte area going back and forth every other day with supplies to the mountains. They post on fb on town or neighborhood sites so people know in case they have things to donate. Most in our area are 30 something moms.

Pilots were masked IT WAS INTENTIONAL. LOCAL PD trying to track down the helicopter so they can arrest the pilots! HELICOPTER WAS UNMARKED
Only one H60 Helicopter was picked up on Flight Radar near Burnsville during the time of the incident and Flight Radar says it flew past and did not stop or hover in the region like the one in the videos.

Great question. IDK, but what I do know is when these f3d agencies F around, what they find out is that the people don't give up/in, they UNITE to help their fellow countrymen. Their bs tactics always backfire bc we end up uniting to help each other, and we gain sooo much strength when united.
