He keeps talking about "gang members" and "criminals". Does this mean he is going to like the none criminals stay because they are good people?
We need them to leave to. Come back and do it the right way.
non-criminal illegal immigrants? huh?
I get what you are saying friend.
But Trump is calling out gang members. The mass majority of illegals are not gang members.
So if they only focused on the gang member types. That still would leave millons of illegals over here.
Sure...they might not cause crime. But they still will be over here.
you said he keeps talking about "crimimals".
illegal immigrants are criminals.
but if he's going to prioritize gang members... ...i feel like that just makes sense.
That is true.
But I feel that he might say "Well.. the good ones can stay guys". We will see what happens.
Just my concern.
Optics for normal people.
I think it's all about being literal; you could still call them 'gang members'...as there is a large group of them with common goals, breaking laws, etc. they're certainly not here for the patriotism...
just because they don't identify with a well known gang doesn't mean they're not a 'gang'
Yeah, I have plenty of Filipino family who would love to come here the legal way if it wasn't such a pain in the ass. They speak English, are an ex-American territory, and fought with us in all our wars since WW2. Why should the Hispanics get to flood in because they are close by?
Pre-COVID 57% of Illegals were Mexican, and its the 15th largest economy in the world. They used to throw illegals off the trains. from further south to appease America, since there was no incentive.
Corporate America is turning us into a third-world country with all these no-benefit jobs. Many of whom get paid cash so no Payroll taxes for the corporations. In the Philippines a lot of cash workers too and they have no benefits.
As a security guard, I have no benefits except 1.5 for over 40 and for working ON a Holiday.
Less than half the people in the USA have no or almost no benefits now.
These cash workers aren't paying into SS to provide for the retired, like we have been all our lives. It's speeding up the bankruptcy of the SS system.
Corporations as a form of business are evil and need to go.
Corporations were intended, by the Founders, to be a mechanism whereby people could organize in the private sector to accomplish some kind of project or effort, with a fixed sunset for the legal incorporation (7 years).
Requiring ALL corporate charters to be sunsetted after 7 years would take care of a lot of the problems we face. Corporations live forever because a) they just keep renewing their charters and b) they get their lawyers to change the law from what the Founders intended, so that their charters last forever (Disney did the big legal action to make that possible).
So it's basically the Walking Undead corporations versus us mortal humans. We have maybe 30 years where we work, save, and try to make enough money to care for our families and also put by a little nest egg. God bless us if our youth or old age is beset with one of the engineered economic downturns that obliterate everything we worked for.
The Walking Undead corporations can use "the miracle of compounding" over a century or more. This is how the Rothschilds came to own everything. Any downturn is one they engineer, so of course they know how to shelter their assets.
Just restore the Founders' vision of copyright, patents, and corporate charters.
Just that.
Interesting information. I'm going to read it again when I come home from an errand.
These Multinational corporations are the main impetus. A sole Proprietorship or Partnership is the best form of business. The stock market and corporations are schemes for lazy people who suffer the same problems as the government. I'm not going to look right now, but probably the little guys own most of Vanguard and Blackrock, etc... But a few at the top control them.
This was a question I raised among the "Bogleheads" (fans of Jack Bogle, Vanguard's founder) in the '90s and '00s.
Low fee retail investing was still pretty new in the early '90s, and popularized in the '80s as part of the new FIRE (finance, insurance, real estate) model sockpuppeted by (((Reagan))). The corollary was abandonment of the US economy as a place where real world concrete productivity happened ("deindustrialization"), with multinat corps' seizure of productivity gains, as the real value of labor was driven downward.
Jack's model was buy the market with ultra-low-fee funds, gradually but systematically, and hold it over time, taking advantage of the compounding function and the overall market trends. Ride out the bumps. Understand the difference between investing and speculating. It is a model that served me and my family well during the tech frenzy of the late '90s into 2001, and then the big crash in 2008. I avoided terrible errors that I saw countless friends making (especially in the Dot Con in 1999-2001). I remember saying at parties in Silicon Valley/Bay Area: "Never take options in lieu of salary. Invest on your own." And getting laughed out of the room...by people who probably today are still paying off their CA state tax bills. People who reamed themselves because they didn't understand the (((pyramid scheme))).
But back to the Bogle model: I wondered, what happens when eventually all the conservative small buy and holders have their shares grow systematically, and then collectively command a huge portion of the economy? If "the stock market" grows on average historically by 10% a year, then it has to double every 7 years.
Is that real economic activity? Or just numbers games? If this represents real economic power, how does that get translated into political power, when the globo does nothing but numbers games, devoid of any consideration of who it affects and how? Does it reflect anything other than currency devaluation?
I never got much conversation that seemed to comprehend the exponential function across longer periods of time, and what that means for who owns/controls what. And of course the UniParty was busy worrying about furthering social BS and endless wars.
Still, today, when people screech about Vanguard and Blackrock (and leave out Fidelity, State Street, etc.), it seems odd. The remaining wealth of the prudent middle and working classes reside in those holdings. Blackrock is out there vacuuming up houses as effectively the buyer of last resort. Then there's the whole commercial real estate bubble, which some have been waiting to pop for going on 20 years now.
But I have to wonder how much of this is managed for the good of American families/workers/communities. That is what I see MAGA being about. The effort to turn the supership toward creating real wealth for real people via real productivity. I told a financial adviser this, about 8 years ago, and he sniffed, "Oh, so you're an Enlightenment Romantic."
Yeah, I found another adviser.
Now, getting your wealth back out of those systems is another thing entirely. The worst experiences I've had are with TIAA-CREF, the best with Vanguard and Charles Schwab. And god forbid you should receive an inheritance, or leave one for someone else. The death taxes are over the top, and the limits on how you can "own" property left to you are often vicious, and inflicted by various levels of gubmint.
I'm tired after making firewood so may not be writing clearly, and will stop. Thank you for reading my blog post.
We have a family member who has been trying to enter the US LEGALLY (Filipino) for the last 5 years and had to pay the fees twice because the administrative power botched things. Ridiculous! Also a dear family friend could not come from Philippines to visit his dying mother even though his brother is a priest here and there was zero flight risk. They begged and begged for permission. Such a messed up system. Most Filipinos trying to come here are educated, very upstanding people and are never given the chance that those from south of the border are offered, no holds barred.
I had a time bringing my wife here... I married in the Philippines and it took 9 months from filing and a lot of money to assemble the documents, pay immigration fees, and fly her in.
Sad to hear about your family's problem. Lets hope Trump fixes it.
I believe he will GBA...
He's reaching out to Colorado voters in a specific point. He has clearly said that his goal is deporting ALL illegal criminal invaders
They are all criminals...every one! They became a criminal when they stepped into our country "Illegally!" We need to start referring to them and "Criminal Aliens!"
I used to feel a little guilty because these poor people...many of them woman and children...were just coming here to have a better life. However, during this whole F'd up border debacle, I realized that they (especially the males) are leaving their shit hole country not to have a better life in America. NO...they are coming here because they (for the most part) think this should have been their country as well! They are coming here in the hopes of making America just like the shit hole they are leaving. And then there's the hopes of living off the American taxpayer as well. They get freebie after freebie here. So...I now feel justified in my stance that indeed they all need to be deported and we need to completely STOP all immigration until such a time as we can figure out who in this world exactly deserve to be here based on the level at which they will assimilate and what they can contribute to Keep America Great!
They are criminals, just by being here.
I agree.
But his language is sounding like.
"Hey.. those Haitians who don't commit crime... they are ok to stay".
JD even said "Let's start off with the hardcore criminals first and take it from there".
That's not acceptable to me. We need all ILLEGALS to be deported.
You have to start somewhere. Aren't the criminal gang members a good start?
