What he's hearing from the locals is they expect the Feds are not coming, so any help you can give them is appreciated. He goes into details near the end of the video.
My son has been there for quite awhile hauling supplies and medical personnel into remote areas with his pickup.

I believe your story but then it makes me think they are being selective about which areas they are helping.
I've heard Asheville is more Dem territory, so it makes sense they are there.
This is why they hate that they cannot control the internet - we have folks on the ground with cameras, showing us what's going on.

Not at all. I know a couple who live an hour away from the destruction in NC. They keep making runs with clothes, food, generators, fuel…Miraculously they saved a young man’s life by supplying him with a generator to run his dialysis machine. He literally was a few hours away from dying. FEMA was nowhere to be found.
If FEMA has been helping all along, where is the footage?
There are hundreds of hours of footage from the past couple weeks showing private citizens and local authorities helping people, handing out supplies, cutting trees, etc. Not one FEMA vehicle or employee in sight until more than a week after the storm hit, even then all they did was set up tents and wait for backup. Again, there is video proof of this.
I don't blame boots on the ground FEMA & believe the vast majority of them really want to help & serve.
I have seen a pattern of management & leadership being corrupt in multiple institutions & scenarios.
That said, I won't let any federal employee into my home, even my friends I have known for decades. I just won't take that risk & do not want to out them into a compromised position IF there is anything they are supposed to report that I am not aware of (there are so many ways we can break federal laws that we cannot comply with all of them, Elon Musk discussed hiring & not hiring being in direct conflict in a Tucker Carlson interview).
I am praying for your son & many friends I have made in the Ashville area. I almost moved there last year & am so grateful God kept us where we are at. It didn't make sense at the time, but I am told where we were looking at buying or building was heavily damaged. God knows much better than I do, that if for sure.
