This is the first I've heard of this. Utter stupidity, and what really galls me is that the people doing it know it's a farce, too.
This underscores a much, much bigger problem here in this country. We, as citizens, never get to vote on really important issues. No one voted for illegal immigration, no one voted for thousands of acres of solar installations, or miles of wind farms. Our "representatives" don't represent us, and/or are too stupid themselves to understand fully what they're voting for.
In the cases of large infrastructure being put on private property, the argument is made that the owner of the property can do whatever they wish with that property. Not so, I say. Not when the infrastructure negatively impacts those around it. I've driven through the wind farms in northern Texas, for example. No one talks about how those turbines change weather patterns. That's farmland, and ranchland. Under certain weather conditions, it brings a heavy cloud layer to the ground, not to mention the fact that it's a massive eyesore.
Here in Florida there was a large solar installation hit by a tornado when Milton blew through, shattering thousands of panels into shards of glass and silicon wafers. Imagine those projectiles flying in the air...
Imo it's about conditioning Americans to accept more and more Eminent Domain land theft, as well as pay off all of their cronies on another boondoggle. And a side benefit is to destroy more of our best farmland, to make us more vulnerable.
It is about stealing taxpayer's money from the government ----- same with the wind farms, that will be torn down. The wind farms got big government subsidies.
All that CO2 could boost farm production and plant life across the globe, giving us the life promoting oxygen we all need. What a foolish waste of money.
I was the emergency manager for a county that had 12 pipelines running through the County, these pipelines were rural and urban, these was an aerial inspection of these pipelines every Monday for leaks, This is fear mongering at best, The purpose to move citizens is to scare the population, no matter what it is, do you all remember COVID? how about 9.11 and the legislation afterwards that took much of our freedom, they scared us!
I'm wondering what happens to the CO2 once it's pumped into the Earth at 2000 psi? Will it eveventually seep up to the surface and then into the atmosphere? Probably it will because that's a lot of pressure underneath the prairie.

I believe there was another large solar farm somewhere that got totally trashed by giant hail. I found a link. https://www.newsweek.com/thousands-solar-panels-texas-destroyed-hailstorm-1883546

Projects like these need to be illegal.

Removing Carbon Dioxide does to plants what removing Oxygen does to people and animals.
Neither survive long.
Both are essential to thriving and flourishing.
The more plants thrive, the more oxygen they produce.
The more oxygen they produce, the more people and animals thrive.

Stop trying to catch it, just let the plant food into the air where it belongs.

Most pot businesses pay for CO2 to increase pot plant growth…and here we taxpayers are paying to dump it.
Stupid gov as usual.
