But I thought the military is not allowed to be used as law enforcement on our home soil and against the citizens per Posse Comitatus Act?
according to the manual they have altered this.
There is one problem with this - only CONgress can change that law. DoD can't simply allow themselves to shoot to kill US citizens.
I believe a drop (or the Law of War manual) said something like 'certain laws have been lifted' to facilitate dealing with the election riots.
I think we are at war, that would definitely alter that as only thr military could combat a force on out own soil.
