can you take a pic of the entire thing + the envelope with the stamp, which should include the date it was mailed? Just cover up any personal info or barcodes
Is there a way to add another photo here? I’m not seeing the option. The weird thing is that the date/time stamp isn’t clear (at least not to me). Perhaps someone can interpret it better than I am
able to?
If you go to https://catbox.moe you can upload pics and then just drop the links to them in the comments on here. Sadly we can't do multi-image posts /:
Just be sure your personal info is not anywhere visible, and don't trust iPhone to edit it out, you can Revert iPhone pics to original unedited form. I'd sugguest manually covering your info before the pic is taken
I wish it was more clear about the dates. There are a bunch of numbers but I can’t make sense of them. This definitely came in the mail in the past couple months (don’t recall the date) and I set them on my desk in an obvious and safe place. But the mailing date isn’t clear on the envelope, unfortunately. At least not from my vantage point.
Yeah that's annoying. Try scanning the QR code and see where it takes you. Other than that I have no idea how you could track down when that was mailed to you aside from contacting your post office to see when it was delivered. I didn't know anything could come in the mail without a date on it, but then again I'm notorious for tossing junk mail without even glancing at it, so maybe it's possible. You'll likely need some info off the envelope for the post office to track it. Are you sure you didn't just forget to vote in your primary? 😅
Then your priority definitely needs to be to let all your neighbors, family etc know, call the number on the voter application, call the post office, contest that shit as best you can and never get rid of it, it might come in handy in the future. Is there an option where you are to go vote in person?
First I'd say delete this comment and re take it with that QR code covered, that might be able to ID you. Also cover whatever those codes are by the "020 11:04:37 PM"
next, is there nothing on the envelope to show the date it was mailed? Otherwise ppl might say "oh you just posted a pic from back in March"
lastly you might try scanning that QR code just to see what it even does. That's weird
It is not up to your husband's boss to allow him to vote.
If he has to be to work before 7:00 he can go before or after work or during lunch and he can be late for any of that back to work. Or he can leave it 5:00 even if it's early to get in line. Once you are in line you are able to vote no matter what time you get in. People don't know the law allows them to vote. He could sue his boss and company.

This needs to go viral

100% sure! I voted. This was newly sent well after the primary.

Go directly to your County Board of Elections tomorrow am and exchange it for the general election one for 2024.
Fill it out there and give it right back to them
I hope you go vote in person...
I definitely will be. But my husband has to work. Hoping he is able to convince his boss to let him leave long enough to vote.
I thought it was law that employers had to let employees off to vote?
Good point. I’ll press him on that. Thanks for the reminder. This is not an election we want to mess around with!

If he works too far away from his precinct he just needs to leave work earlier
By law your husband has to be allowed to vote. All he needs to bring to his boss is a paper from the poll saying that he voted. I was given a receipt.
