Yet another reason to use preprinted ballots. Systems crash, power goes out, shit happens. Paper with serial numbers and pens and printouts of eligible voters can always be used and audited afterwards.
I lived in Santa Fe for 13 years, and that place is full of libtards. ABQ has some, but in the rural areas there is a conservative mindset. However a lot of them still vote dem, even though most of them hunt and fish and are very family oriented. Its a weird place, very tribal especially on the pueblos and in the hispanic communities.
Visited Santa Fe for first time last year on a road trip to Grand Canyon. So many raved, "It's so beautiful, you just HAVE to stop and see it!" It IS a pretty area...but I was generally unimpressed and the residents left me cold and more than ready to leave, given that they reminded me of the elitist assholes that infest the close-in suburb of D.C. where we live.
When we first moved there it was a great place to live. Then the place became a sanctuary city and went to shit. Vagrants everywhere, piles of feces and spent needles in the plaza. Yeah not worth stopping, just keep on driving if you have to go through that city. It is a shit hole now.

Thank you!! I wasn't sure if this would get to her
Something to be said for the old technology of paper ballots and books full of the names and signatures of registered voters.
Yes!! In our county you can vote anywhere in the whole county, for convenience
When you do something important legally, like buy a house, tons of paper are involved.
Those bastards! How do they live with themselves?
They have no soul.

No more machines! It can be a grueling day for the poll workers, especially the inspectors (16 hrs +) but it can and must be done.
Wife voted this morning in Las Cruces... said the lines were long... maybe the Trump turn out is breaking the system
might hit the election inyegrity group on X if you have any account.
Mods - please sticky this!
So they are worried about loosing " dark blue " New Mexico to the point they have to pull this? That's pretty bad.
Well considering NM is a majority-minority, deep blue state; this may be a positive thing....
I don't believe we really are

Yeah, that's why I don't go to Santa Fe
Yes. They are born democrats and won't change for anything, even tho the dems left them a long time ago.
Which part don't you really believe?
The majority-minority or deep blue?
That we're deep blue.
Only republican voters are kicked off the voter rolls, right?
