Is there any law that states President Trump has to be inagurated in D.C.? The Democrats are so insane that I think he would be walking into a lion's den if he goes there. He'd be safer picking another location for his inaguration (if he is allowed to) and then sending the military into D.C. to clean out that cesspool before he even sets foot in there.
I don't trust the Democrats. Maybe I am just paranoid but I want him to be safe.
LBJ was sworn into office on a plane enroute to DC so I don't believe there is even a rule about it.
I don't know but i am worried about his meeting with Biden on Wednesday in the Oval Office
He better bring his food taster😂
Chris Christie!
He said taster. Christie wouldn’t leave anything.
Fair point.
KEK!
He can go wherever he pleases. These faggots are neutered and won't do shit.
Honestly, people have to walk into the lions den. As long as we are praying for the President's protection, he is safe. That is what happened with Daniel in the lions den and what happened with President Trump in Butler on July 13th.
That being said, One inauguration has been held in New York while another two have been held in Philadelphia. But those two cities have been designated as the US Capital and a overwhelming super majority of inaugurations have been held in the US Capital.
Here is a list of Presidential inaugurations that took place outside of Washington DC:
1901: Teddy Roosevelt (Buffalo, New York) 1923: Calvin Cooilidge (Plymouth Notch, Vermont) 1963: Lyndon Johnson (Dallas, Texas)
A significant reason to hope for a large well attended inauguration in DC is optics.
Primary goals of an election include making people think their votes counted and to make them think the election resulted in an accurate result. And to project that energy to the world.
A massive supportive crowd embracing the new POTUS Trump demonstrates the support of the civilian population.
Interestingly enough biden’s inauguration was very poorly attended and the excuse was COVID. Bad optics.
