Not saying this isn’t special, but I used to fly navy planes around south Texas and Chase field (decon navy base) had at least that amount of trailers staged. Mind you this was post Hurricane Harvey. No idea when they showed up there.
I was wondering about that. this could be a completely normal thing, but nobody notices it normally, so when they do, it seems odd
understanding how often something like this happens would be useful.
also, Speaking as someone who lived in Iowa for most of my life, it wouldn't be shocking to get hammered with a huge snowstorm outta nowhere. if it's bad enough, ice can literally build up on powerlines and cause them to break.
and that's just one possibility off the top of my head. Keep in mind also that michigan is further north than where I was, so they deal with cold i've never even heard of, lol

Surprising then that they did not pre-stage in N. Carolina before the hurricane. Instead FEMA deliberately was a useless cuck.
