I get a phone call claiming I signed a summons to serve on a federal grand jury and because I didn't show up the judge issued two (2) federal warrants for my arrest. fake cop #1 says I have an out and turns me over to fake cop #2. "We can get a freeze on these warrants but you have to file a bail bond" "You can't discuss this with anybody else" "not just any bail bonds man but an advocate" Cop #2 was relying on fear to cloud his illogical statements. I ended up telling them I would drive to the closest sheriff station and turn myself in, he hung up on me.
I called the local Sheriff sub-station and they said total scam, we don't call criminals, we show up and arrest them
we don't call criminals, we show up and arrest them
kek great response
Never answer a number you don’t know. Only use a cell phone.
My rule of thumb. If it’s a number I don’t know. Let it go to voicemail and if it’s important they’ll leave a voicemail.
I had a scammer call me saying my bank account had been hacked and wanted my account number. I'm not that stupid, I figure he found out about the Nigerian Prince that was leaving me his fortune and was wanting to steal it. I ain't that stupid! Keke
You can save yourself some headaches by silencing calls from unknown callers. So if someone is not in your contacts, their call goes directly to voicemail. You don't even get a ring. And if it's a legitimate call, they'll leave a voice mail. Spam callers won't bother.
But I like what the cops said, we don't call criminals, we show up and arrest them. Lol.
P.S. if you don't know how to do that, do a search for a video.
Common scam that's been happening for many years now.
i got one yesterday saying he was from u.s. border . with a massive accent. really couldnt understand him.was fun.kek
