I don't think there is any photo that shows his hand covered in blood but there is the sequence of photos which were taken withing seconds of the shooting and there clearly is blood in his right hand in the last photo.

Trump went down you do remember that dont you? He was on the ground how long you dont know how much he bled because you couldnt see him. He also lost his shoes while he was on the ground are you gonna question that too.
Have you not in your life ever started bleeding you do what you can to get rid of the blood by the time SS got him up most of the blood was gone except on his ear and face because he was still bleeding. I would guess he used a handkerchief to wipe it off his hands.

Find recent photos of DJT's right ear. I've seen some and there appears to be a very small healed nick in his ear.
The 5.56 X 45 mm cartridge has a bullet of small diameter, and the nick on his ear is very small.
As for the amount of blood, if you cut your ear, you get a lot of bleeding.
With a bullet wound, the bleeding may be less in some circumstances due to the heat of the bullet travelling at super sonic velocity, (approaching Mach 3).
A wound like this can be partly cauterized by the bullet, reducing blood loss.
We've all seen the picture of him on the ground, face down. In that orientation, it's possible that blood was dripping off his ear and directly onto the ground (with only a little trickle that hit the side of his face).
Seeing as an ear bleeds quickly, and they had him pinned down on the ground for quite some time - it's possible that a small pool of blood formed right in front of his eyes.
There's no way to prove this, but if it happened that way, it would certainly explain him saying that there was 'a lot of blood!'
