Yup! As an NJ native who has also lived in other states, I'm appalled at just how freaking expensive it is to live here. We've owned our house for over thirty years, but if we had to buy it now it would be impossible. There are so very few rentals available that younger people can't afford to live in the towns they grew up in. Our property taxes are astronomical and just keep rising. Every day I see young, Hispanic men (who I'm guessing are not here legally), working for construction companies, lawn care and other businesses that can easily pay them under the table. Our schools all have ESL teachers, the kids get free lunches, government paid (by us), healthcare and other social services. Its gotta stop. Murphy is a bigger idiot than Christie was.
I am from South Jersey and we are Definitely red...No doubt North Jersey cities cheat their asses off...Praying when President Trump takes office things will change
I stayed up all night watching the results for the last Governor race. Strange numbers. Red counties like Warren were reporting democratic wins and then later flipped to republican (same numbers too). Something similar happened in Burlington County. Essex County (Newark) shows zero votes almost all night. I believe Jack won (he was the winner for 2 days) and then it flipped. The RNC did not help Jack at all.
I also believe Jack won. In a landslide but the Dems cheated as usual. At least Ed Durr won and ousted Steve Sweeney. I think the only reason Durr won was that the Dems didn't think he'd ever oust Sweeney and dropped the ball on cheating in that race.
In Tx, law went into effect Nov 1. People presenting at ERs must state citizenship status. HotWheels says so we can “put a number” to the problem by counting these report results. Quickest way to deter illegals? DO NOT HIRE THEM! Those that do should be prosecuted BEFORE deportations begin. Hefty fines! Money goes to resettle invaders back home (if they haven’t already self-deported; they aren’t stupid, just criminal trespassers)

So you're by Cape May or Atlantic City? It's mostly Republican there I'd hope. It's the North side towards CT & NY that's super liberal. I still can't see myself living in another state. Love fishing and boating down the shores, love hiking and we've got beautiful reservations, and still want to explore Pine Barrens one day. But the people in my area near Jersey City are not that great.. I'm just here for the nature part I guess. And thank God for ya'll at GAW.
There's nothing like the jersey shore... and not the damned tv show. Although it's not AT ALL the same as when I was a kid...no ac, no tv, everybody STFU after 9pm, riding bikes on the boards before 11am, crabbing, body surfing, all those little mom and pop stores (no 7-11, wawa etc ...it was freakin "Sal and Annie's")... it'll never be the same with ridiculous condos blocking the view of both the bay and the ocean... and it's all new yorkers now...sigh. Best time for the beach is in the winter. It's all yours...a no tags required

Trump lost NJ by only 4 percent. I think we need to be in the closet because work and school environments are ruled by the blue-hairs. But our day will come. I really believe our next Governor will be a Republican, It's those wacky Democratic state legislators that screw up the state. If we didn't have voter registration for illegals at the DMV, I bet a lot of them would not win.
