You are reading your own prejudice into the Bible. What was Jesus, if not a Jewish rabbi? Who were the Apostles, if not Jews? Who were the members of the congregation of the original Church of Jerusalem if not Jews? The New Testament was very truly meant for Jews and Gentiles alike. If excluded the Jews, how do you explain the divine conversion of St. Paul?
It is gratuitous nonsense to claim that "they" (all the Jews that ever were) murdered God's prophets and Jesus. And words spoken against the Pharisees are only spoken against them. No word of God is ever erased, though it may be superseded if there is a new covenant. There has been no divine condemnation of "the Jews."
Was it “the Jews”?
If we read back one verse, we see this:
Meanwhile, if we read back one chapter, we see these:
So many other Jewish priests converted and followed Christ.
It was actually other synagogues from other regions who began these claims.
False witnesses were involved.
Now, we see the various parties who were against, as well as various parties who were for, and those parties overlap within higher level groupings.
You are not speaking clearly, and whether because of intention or bias, only you know. Either way, context is everything.
I myself have acted sinfully, which is against God. I myself have likely also done good works, which are for God (or at least I suppose so). Whose side am I on? It is not our place to decide that. God is the Judge, and Jesus is my mediator before Him, lest I simply be guilty.
Groups work the same way. Both good and evil exist within them. Why then, do you seek to render a judgment against the whole group? Would you not then be judged as you yourself judge? How were the same priests both “obedient to the faith” and a “Synagogue of Satan”?
Clearly, there were, and are, very bad actors who need to be sifted out and dealt with in some form or another. However, you are overgeneralizing, for whatever reason, and omitted very specific nearby verses that do not help your case, and where it could easily appear that you are in search of fulfilling your bias, rather than looking at things innocently and with earnest intention. Is our job to rush to judgment and condemnation? Both Jesus and Stephen asked Heaven not to hold their sins against them, yet you find it necessary to do so?
Strange.

I just thought the comment was pretty strong. I don't condemn all jews. Like you said, clearly there's a deep state for every state on earth including Israel. Good verse references, i shall tone it down a notch.
Yeah, I believe there is a calling out and sifting that needs to be done, as well as a toning down and measuring - both sides at the same time. First step of all that is using clear language. I’m quite sure I’ve misstepped on some of my comments as well, it’s not an easy topic.
Was primarily a correction for the 14 day old account, who is throwing deep blanket accusations using scripture and Jesus’ name.
We should always use great care when bringing scripture toward the direction he laid out.
I accept that this makes sense if you are also rebuking the person I was rebuking. Otherwise, I am puzzled.
Not a rebuke per se, but our responses are in the same direction.
Who was the deep state in Jesus day? Rome or the Pharisees. Honest question that just came in my head.
MAG has some very interesting ideas on this, but I’m not sure it’s possible to know.
I tend to suspect his idea that it was always the Canaanites that the Hebrews were supposed to wipe out holds a lot of water, but I’m not sure it’s possible to tell. Things got real messy real quick when they intermarried with the Canaanite daughters.
Most likely there have always been power cores in every society, but if “Deep State” as we know it is defined by mercantilism, money printing, assassination, drugs, blackmail, etc., well…. different ones of those may have started at different times.
Here’s one for you… when did “Hebrews” flip to “Israel” flip to “Jews”? Especially relevant if “Jews” did not come from “Judahites” or “Yehudi” as is typically claimed.
Why did “Hebrews” basically disappear as a group name after the days of the Bible?
You devout Jew-haters always like to spread the sins of the Pharisees across all the Jews. In Revelation 3, He is speaking to the Church of Philadelphia:
9 I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars—I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you.
He says nothing of Israel. He does not condemn the Jews who are Jews. Just as Satan quotes scripture, so do you.
You are just shopping the Bible for passages to quote. Jesus was a Jew, his family was Jewish, the Apostles that he chose were Jewish, those who followed him were Jewish, and the first church of Jerusalem was Jewish, as were the churches in other cities, including Rome. The Epistles were written for Jews (notably the Book of Hebrews).
You, on the on the other hand, continue to conflate condemnation of Pharisees with condemnation of all Jews. They are still open to the New Testament and the Bible does not declare them closed from it. Moreover, the injunction of the Bible is for every believer to be open to every unbeliever and not judge, lest ye be judged. They may live in darkness---for now---but it is not for you, nor anyone, to construe their situation as a call for condemnation. They are to be pitied. Plenty of Gentiles living in darkness, too, out of pride and paganism, but do we cut them off or remain open to them?
