If uniting the entire world population against themselves is their goal, they're well on their way.
You are reading your own prejudice into the Bible. What was Jesus, if not a Jewish rabbi? Who were the Apostles, if not Jews? Who were the members of the congregation of the original Church of Jerusalem if not Jews? The New Testament was very truly meant for Jews and Gentiles alike. If excluded the Jews, how do you explain the divine conversion of St. Paul?
It is gratuitous nonsense to claim that "they" (all the Jews that ever were) murdered God's prophets and Jesus. And words spoken against the Pharisees are only spoken against them. No word of God is ever erased, though it may be superseded if there is a new covenant. There has been no divine condemnation of "the Jews."
Was it “the Jews”?
If we read back one verse, we see this:
Meanwhile, if we read back one chapter, we see these:
So many other Jewish priests converted and followed Christ.
It was actually other synagogues from other regions who began these claims.
False witnesses were involved.
Now, we see the various parties who were against, as well as various parties who were for, and those parties overlap within higher level groupings.
You are not speaking clearly, and whether because of intention or bias, only you know. Either way, context is everything.
I myself have acted sinfully, which is against God. I myself have likely also done good works, which are for God (or at least I suppose so). Whose side am I on? It is not our place to decide that. God is the Judge, and Jesus is my mediator before Him, lest I simply be guilty.
Groups work the same way. Both good and evil exist within them. Why then, do you seek to render a judgment against the whole group? Would you not then be judged as you yourself judge? How were the same priests both “obedient to the faith” and a “Synagogue of Satan”?
Clearly, there were, and are, very bad actors who need to be sifted out and dealt with in some form or another. However, you are overgeneralizing, for whatever reason, and omitted very specific nearby verses that do not help your case, and where it could easily appear that you are in search of fulfilling your bias, rather than looking at things innocently and with earnest intention. Is our job to rush to judgment and condemnation? Both Jesus and Stephen asked Heaven not to hold their sins against them, yet you find it necessary to do so?
Strange.
