Hmm. So tap Gaetz as AG to expend their ammo, show the RINOs, show who is resigning. Have him withdrawn and appoint Flynn, and Gatez moves to the senate taking Rubio's seat, with a chance to become senate majority leader.
Flynn is not a lawyer by trade. Would be a very poor decision.
Half the cabinet picks for a lot of Presidents haven't been relevant. We had a physicist and a president of Proctor & Gamble as Defense secretaries in the past

I've never found him to be on the wrong side of an argument, though I will agree he is probably too choleric for the job. He certainly recognizes who the right enemies are. Aside from "I don't trust anyone," what would be your basis for mistrust?
