Agreed, I mostly read stuff here and have noticed it also.
It looks prettier and it ends on the most powerful note, sort of like MLKs speech ending with the mention of the All Mighty.
Ok. I can see the literary aspects.
Alpha and Omega.
Humans remember what was said last even more than what was said first. People can wnjoy a story that starts slow but ends with a bang, whereas if you pull a Waterworld and the best scene is the first one, people will hate it.
Ultimate means “last” for a reason.
