I remember Katrina since I am form Mississippi. New Orleans got the flood waters from the back side and most of the help while the Gulf Coast of Ms. was blown away. Even at that, it took DAYS for FEMA just to get water to those stranded at the Super Dome.

I have gotten more help from volunteers and the Army Corps of Engineers than I ever have from FEMA.
