Biden Aggressively Expanded The IRS -- Elon Musk Now Plans to Put It Under Audit
Elon Musk has confirmed that the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) will audit the Internal Revenue Service.
Posting on the X platform, Musk will said that an audit of the agency is “gonna happen.”

While the IRS undergoes annual audits by the U.S. Government Accountability Office, these proccesses are primarily focused on ensuring the agency is following its protocols rather than an effort to cut waste and inefficiency.
In fact, the Biden administration has overseen an aggressive expansion of the agency and its harassment of working Americans.
Back in May, the agency demanded a further $20 billion from Congress in order to hire another 14,000 more employees as part of an effort to better “serve taxpayers.”
Their pleas came under two years Congress passed the so-called Inflation Reduction Act, which included a staggering $80 billion windfall for the agency to expand its operations and hire tens of thousands of agents.

Musk, who is already tasked with running a range of multibillion dollar companies, was appointed by Trump to the role of heading up the DOGE alongside the businessman and former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.
According to Trump, Musk's will be asked to "dismantle Government Bureaucracy, slash excess regulations, cut wasteful expenditures, and restructure Federal Agencies -- Essential to the 'Save America' Movement."
He explained at the time:
It will become, potentially, “The Manhattan Project” of our time. Republican politicians have dreamed about the objectives of “DOGE” for a very long time.
To drive this kind of drastic change, The Department of Government Efficiency will provide advice and guidance from outside of Government, and will partner with the White House and Office of Management & Budget to drive large scale structural reform, and create an entrepreneurial approach to Government never seen before.
I look forward to Elon and Vivek making changes to the Federal Bureaucracy with an eye on efficiency and, at the same time, making life better for all Americans. Importantly, we will drive out the massive waste and fraud which exists throughout our annual $6.5 Trillion Dollars of Government Spending.
They will work together to liberate our Economy, and make the US Government accountable to “WE THE PEOPLE.”
Their work will conclude no later than July 4, 2026 -- A smaller Government, with more efficiency and less bureaucracy, will be the perfect gift to America on the 250th Anniversary of The Declaration of Independence. I am confident they will succeed!” Trump said.
The work starts on January 20th, 2025.

Just get rid of it. Tariffs only for the Federal government.
Yes, but it would be nice to know EXACTLY HOW BADLY they grifted us.
Yes!!
Do them first, please - maybe that will keep them from targeting us this year.
...start with the [ IRS ] employees who owe over 50 mil in back taxes
Now you've done it, your 'AUDIT SUMMONS' is in the mail. 😮🤣
Considering that the IRA audits an untold number of Americans; who must PROVE their innocence - the IRS should be able to complete this audit with flying colors
We all know they will fail miserably
Ah yes with flying - flying rainbow colors.
What a life-changer scrubbing the IRS would be! Good Lord.... make it so!
Isnt a problem if theyve got nothing to hide.
Maybe all em can charter a one way flight to Kenya.
I once heard no irs employees pay any federal income taxes. What would happen if I paid my state income taxes on time but forgot to pay my federal income taxes? Can't I just opt out of federal like the irs employees do? What if we all did that?
I handle the quarterly payroll tax for my job. The guy who had the job before me screwed up and used a previous year's form one quarter so I refiled it on the correct form and included a letter explaining what had happened. Money was paid, just the wrong form. It was sent in several months ago. Got a letter yesterday that they acknowledged it was received but they need at least another 60 days to review. I just shook my head. What do you people DO??
Can't wait for this stupid shit to go away.
Can we split up the unused ammo that we paid for?
