President Putin will not negotiate with Zelensky. Putin does not recognise him as the leader of Ukraine because when it came to Ukraine elections, Zelinsky denied the people the vote.
My guess: In the event that an actual negotiation is "off the table," Trump will get Putin to draft an ultimatum, which he will present to Zelensky (being provisional warlord) with the option of Take It or Leave It. And pull the plug on any and all U.S. personnel supporting field operations (e.g., Patriot, ATACMS),
It will be interesting at such a point if Zelensky were thrown over by his controlling cabal, who might then be riven with indecision over what course to take, realizing they would most likely be dead with either outcome (war crimes). From this, there is the bizarre possibility that the cabal may simply abandon ship and race for refuge in Poland, leaving Ukraine (as such) in the lurch without a government or leadership. At that outcome, the idea of a joint occupation by the U.S. and Russia might not be too impossible.
I would like it if he could somehow declare that the U.S. is now a NEUTRAL party, reclaim any U.S. aid not already disbursed to the battlefield, and put it under lock and key with white-helmet MPs on guard. Or hire the Swiss, I'm not picky. On the side, I would hope he would privately confer with Putin on joint inspection and documentation of all the sites of crimes against humanity: bio-warfare labs, human trafficking centers, children abattoirs, etc.
Putin will not risk trusting the West again. Ever. He will not be a party to a joint occupation with the US. The Minsk Accords are still fresh in Putin’s mind and remember, it was American weapons that has killed 14,000 Russian speaking civilians in the Donbas alone from 2014 - to the START of the SMO. You only have to listen to what Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov repeated to Tucker Carlson. Russia is a completely different country to what is was in 2014/2015. They have proven that time and time again during the SMO and will use nukes if they need to. The Oreshnik can do more damage of any weapon any country has. But add its nuclear capabilities to it and nothing can stop it. There is nothing that can bring down a Mach 11 missile. One warhead carries 36 individual weapons, each can be programmed to hit 36 different cities. While this was a medium range which can reach anywhere in Europe in under 20 minutes, the world has no idea what other weapons Russia has. Think SARMAT and Poseidon. And the West/EU/UK/US and NATO combined has caused this. Not Russia.
If you follow any of the ‘on the frontline’ Intel Slava Z. Slavangrad DDgeopolitics channels on Telegram, the Russian army are now moving at a breakneck speed with no resistance because there is nothing left of the Ukrainian military. They are liberating village after village of Russian speaking territory. In fact Ukraine are being pushed by America to lower the conscription age to 18 from 25 to round up more Ukrainians for the ‘meat grinder’. There is a video today where they are making military uniforms for women with a pregnancy panel which indicates that women will go to the front line. There are no neutral sides from Europe when it comes to Russia. Their allies are in the East and wouldn’t even consider sitting down with Swiss traitors. What was it that Lindsay Graham said? Oh. To the last Ukrainian.
Well, I can't disagree, except to say that Putin knows there is a difference between Biden and Trump. I viewed the entire Carlson-Lavrov interview. It will take a thorough cleaning-out of the U.S. Department of State.
And I do follow the progress of events on Intel_Slava Z, Telegram.
I do have some minor disagreements. The THAAD system can probably intercept Oreshnik (that is what it was designed to do), but it is not deployed to Ukraine. My understanding is that Oreshnik in non-nuclear, short-range mode carries 6 warheads, each with 6 deployable submunitions. The Russians also make a rocket-propelled supercavitating torpedo, be we just sweep it under the rug because we don't know what to do about it.

Hmmmm... Kind of has a familiar ring, doesn't it?
Cut off the money,no need to negotiate. Russia will overrun the country and sort it out.
