A farmer around these part took 10 years and guess what: nature returned in all the power and local diversity it can muster, cows happy, the milk he sells is the best, the cheese he makes is top notch.
And, he farmer created jobs ....
Lesson: anything government touches, and you subordinate instead of listening to nature, you lose to your own and everybody's detriment.
They haven't stopped using it. They are trying to gaslight the public.
One of them stopped using it, the other did not.
Your headline is misleading, the linked article does not mention any Dairy producers who have stopped using this poison.
Methane is a nothingburger. It has a short residence time in the atmosphere, being chemically oxidized into carbon dioxide and water vapor, which have no potential for increased greenhouse effect. This is all virtue-signalling superstition.
And if the sun heats up the tundra, it will outgas methane anyway. We are like mice trying to regulate the behavior of sun, moon, stars, clouds, rain, and floods. When has it ever been true that our works are greater than nature's power? (The only example I can bring to mind are the Dutch dikes---and I'm not talking about manly women. A defense only.)
