As you guys know the new talking point for the left is that Elon is actually "the president" not Trump. I believe the reason for this is because they want to drive a wedge between Trump and Musk. To sabotage their agenda and working relationships.

I don’t think that is the reason at all. They are saying that to try and diminish President Trump and his accomplishments. They did the same thing with Georgie Bush by saying Cheney was really making all the decisions.
Yeah.. I mean you really think Trump is going to see this and just believe MSM? Whatever it is is not aimed at either of them, it's aimed at the masses, or who ever the hell actually watches MSM anymore.
Yes, that was my point
.. hence my "yeah" agreeing with your point
Yet, Halliburton got cost + 20%.
Instead of changing the oil on a HumVee ($40ish dollars) you replace the HumVee and get 20% of 150k
After all of their rich celebrity endorsements and billionaire donations. They complain about Musk?
Ironic, no?
Trump addressed this a couple of days ago at the Turning Point conference - said Musk can't be President because he wasn't born here.
Trump hasn't been inaugurated as President yet.
It is to mock Trump. They think his ego can't stand it.
It is grade school name-calling for derision. No adult analysis of policies -- just "Nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah".
Remember the weird campaign? It is like that. It backfired. It was not effective.

that could be, but to me it seems another way to get people to research, and Learn about our government- how it's Supposed to work. Can Elon do etc, etc...to get people thinking.
like a big interactive immersive civics lesson, that even children can understand.
Just point out to them politely that they cant claim "Trump is a ego maniac" and "Trump is letting Elon become president". Ask them to choose one and make fun of them.
If you want to give a more serious response, ask them why they think Elon is the actual president. If they say how he tweeted and perverted the course of the budget bill, point out that he didnt do it in any official capacity.
That he tweeted to people, and people put pressure on their elected officials. Then ask them "Who should the elected officials represent? The people? Or someone else?"
When they reluctantly answer "People", then point out that Trump and Elon are following through with their promise to give the power back to the people.
Good time now to roll the clip from first Inauguration when Trump said this and at the exact moment the military people came and stood behind him
