January 2025 presidency madness scenario: no Speaker by Jan. 20, the senior Senator = President Pro Tempore —-> President Grassley!

Hypothetical, if the House cannot decide upon a Speaker before 12 Noon Jan. and the Electoral College Vote has not been tallied in Congress and certified, then what?
No Speaker of the House, so next in line is the President Pro Tempore of the Senate = usually the ranking member = will be Senator Charles E. Grassley!

In the link here to the Congressional discussions, it was noted that the Constitution has succession rules to follow when the presidency is vacant and there are Cabinet Officers in a President’s administration who can fill in.
In this upcoming Jan. 2025 scenario, there is no Certification of Trump by Jan. 20 Noon and a temporary officer needs to fill in temporarily.
I searched for Jan 20 deltas and Grassley at Qalerts for any hints but did not notice any around key election and inauguration dates.

This scenario is a “Mr. Juan” on Nino Rodriguez scenario, so please do not evaluate based on him, but based on the scenario possibility. Mr. Juan says things that are off, such as a week ago he said on Nino that Trump said under his breath, during a 2016 debate against Hillary regarding Gitmo, that he (Trump) built it for her. Well Trump did not say that, he said something to the effect that the elitists didn’t want Trump to become President because she would go to her jail (for all her wrongdoings as a politician). Juan's role is to push certain moves on the chess board that would never be played, just to panic and exhaust the enemies.
Based on this experience, I will go ahead and place a bet that this scenario will not happen, but will elicit some responses from the enemy.

Excellent depiction, that makes sense, a role … as the deep state opposition to MAGA has options to make their moves, and the opposition considers making their moves, if a spotlight is placed on one scenario where they could try and get an advantage for their side, they could get frustrated and go a different direction.
