I think the whole belief that everyone's pineal gland is calcified is a cop out. It's a reason for people to not develop theirs and sit in quiet meditation. There may be some truth to calcification, but there's more information that suggests people's pineal glands are atrophied from non-use than anything else. The Bible mentions building on rock vs building on sand .... and when the pineal is underdeveloped or atrophied, it has a sandy consistency... when it's used regularly, it becomes like a stone.
