Go to the root of the problem. Our educated kids don't measure up to anywhere else in the world? Have them come and train us for 6 months and leave... Instead of bringing them in where those jobs are filled by high skilled Americans.

He was called into the office and told he could train for 6 months and leave, or leave now. OMG! He was a software engineer. Didn't have a job lined up so he said he would train. He left after 5 weeks said it was like digging his own grave!
This is not about jobs they cannot fill. Americans have been laid off for cheaper labor, such an extreme abuse.
I say reverse it and have them train us since our universities failed. Then send them back and leave the American in the job!
Of course we can produce our own highly skilled in every single area to make our country productive. The issue is, have we done that over that last decade? Or is possible that we, as a society, been focused more on multiple genders, changing genders, discussing why trans shouldn’t be twerking in front of elementary school age kids, etc..
Come on people, recognize that we’ve been at war now and on multiple fronts. We’re just getting started and there’s a whole lot that needs to be fixed.
As always: how to make sure, knowledge access and skill is secured. Once dependence on outside forces is established, the survival rate of such a system becomes a hazardous issue.
I watched a documentary not too long ago about a program the Russian Government had to bring in skilled foreign workers. It seemed it mostly focused on the food industry. There were people who came to improve dairy farming, cheese making, and to open international restaurants.
The H1B program is like a mature Operation Paperclip. The USA vacuums up all the smart people for the chance to get that really smart spark who can be any one of us humans on this planet.
On the othe side of that blade though are companies that see this food tray of really cheap really smart people the government put in front of them.
The H1b program is to replace more expensive and actually qualified Americans with subhuman, unintelligent, unqualified retards who throw cow shit at each other to celebrate the end of Diwali.
It may have started with good intentions, maybe, but it’s gotten out of hand passing over Americans for cheaper foreigners. So many programs have ended up this way. Veteran preference contractors working on VA projects is so similar. A name only vet owner subs out to cheap foreign owned countries resulting in poor quality work. Some owners NEVER SET FOOT ON THE PROJECT! Waste and abuse everywhere.
That may work to some small degree but the level of “don’t want to work and you can’t make me” is quite high in some areas and I don’t think those teachers will put up with that- it will be quite the culture shock. And top administration isn’t always supportive of teachers who actually teach. Education needs to be torn away from the state level and returned to the local level. This is where the real war is going to have to be fought.

What we need to do is temperately populate our schools with foreign personnel. That will solve the problem in the long run.

Trade school vocations really should start in the 4th-5th grades. Long Division, Fractions, and Beginning Algebra should be taught in the third grade.
