Cheese pizza seems to be a very specific request. Does anyone actually get that when you could get pepperoni or supreme?
Another interesting thing, Macaulay Culkin was in a comedy rock band called Pizza underground when he grew up.

No! I had the same experience two nights ago watching part one.
The entire pizza scene was truly unnecessary and felt shoehorned in, but then at the end Kevin looks directly at the camera and says something like "Mmmm. An entire cheese pizza all for myself!"
Knowing the symbolism involved it really struck me as a "look what we can get away with" flex by the producer class. Wonder if there's anyway to follow the script development... Too lazy to research. Lol.
Since we're on the topic, 80s vampire film Near Dark features a group of vampires living together by circumstance. One is a 300 (or whatever) year old in a child's body. He sets his eyes on the protagonist's elementary school age sister.
Towards the end, the vampires happen to be holed up in a motel where the protagonist's father and sister are staying. The vampire meets the girl outside at the coke machine and invites her back to their room to "watch TV".
The kid vampire and the girl enter the room where the other vampires are sitting around playing cards and relatively low in the sound mix you hear them joke about "someone ordered a cheese pizza".
That was so wildly random it blew my mind. In plain sight. I suspect if I was to rewatch a lot of the sleazy VHS horror stuff I used to, I'd find a lot of this stuff. I suspect the producer circles operated in much the same way the porn industry did.
I think Kevin says that line simply because of the events of the first act that result in him being sent to the attic. Little Fuller and Buzz likely shared the only pizza that had just cheese on it. There is nothing wrong with that, but Kevin likely got revenge by ordering a cheese pizza for himself, and with Buzz's money. Hopefully Peter punished Buzz severely because it was his actions before they left that caused Kevin to be left home.
Yeah Kevin had a cheese pizza ordered for him and the other kids ate it all to spite him. Remember - Buzz acted like he was gonna throw up pizza and told Kevin to get a plate.
I think Buzz was one of the villains in the movies. Him and the other kids eating the cheese pizza ended up with Kevin getting left home alone in the first one. As a result, Buzz should have been punished for the demolished room because it would have never happened had Kevin made the trip to Paris, or if he left the pizza alone. The second movie was also Buzz's fault as he performed an ill-timed prank. Thankfully, Mr. Duncan paid the room service bill later that Christmas Day while Kevin was making the news for saving the store from Harry and Marv.
