My DUMB son lives in Canada, Praises their healthcare system Ad Nausea.

I got 10 stitches in my leg and a tetanus shot at a "Ready Med" type place in the midwest USA. Total bill was around $850. I ended up paying ~$180 ins paid the rest.

I don't know if that's a good deal or not, but I'm sure it would have been a lot more if I'd gone to the ER.

In the past when I didn't have insurance or money I just ignored the bills altogether and they eventually went away completely.. (USA)
