Didn’t mean to laugh but did! Haha —But how bout they let these kids outside to run. That’s what I do with my kids, dogs and horses. Whatever the weather out you go. Clears up adhd immediately.
This is one of the reasons I home school my kids, it's crazy to think that a kid should start job hours by 1st grade be confined to a room and desk the entirety of the day.
Plus how fucking crazy and inefficient is our school system that by the time you graduate high school you will have spent approximately 14,772 hours in school AND WILL HAVE MASTERED NOTHING.
What a waste of time. 14,772 hours and you have mastered nothing and have nothing to show for it.
I've never been diagnosed with ADHD (though I've known about my Assburner's Syndrome since I was 12/13). there were definitely times when I had more energy than I knew what to do with. at some point, my mother starting making me run around the house, then later the block until I was well worn out whenever I had too much energy.
I agree! I sent mine to a Waldorf school because I knew I hated being indoors. They had a lot of common sense ways of teaching the children through physical activities that made it possible for them to learn. Aside from the basics, they learned wood working, growing food, cooking, knitting, house building, multiple languages…. It was a great experience but my son was definitely the rowdiest among them which is why he definitely couldn’t have been in public.
Used to take my dog on day trips, we would run and and play as we walked out to the pastures just to look at the cattle. Easily put on 3-5 miles on the hike, enough to want to go to bed in the evening, and the dog absolutely loved those summer days.
Complex-ptsd. From situations that may not be as heinous, but are long term. Like continued child abuse over 14 years vs an extremely violent singular act.
This is no knock to regular ptsd, they are the same with different causes.
The internet does a better job explaining, this is the jist.
I laughed because ha…that’s legitimately funny and definitely highlights what I’ve wanted to do countless times. But my son (10) has ADHD to a ferocious degree (I suspect autism and ODD as well) and direct punishment, though it might alter the behavior in the moment, absolutely does emotional damage and pours all kinds of gas on the fire for the long run. These kids lack skills in emotional flexibility, frustration tolerance, regulation etc. I’m still looking for the right key to help him gain the skills he needs to join the human race.
For an older generation the cartoon rings true; however the babies of the last few years have suffered atrocious vaccine injuries, corrupt food system etc. The kids with autism spectrum, ADHD, PANDAS, etc are not spoiled brats. Things have changed, sadly.
This is poking fun at loving correction. Think of it as a dog with a shock collar. A caring owner doesn't want the dog hit by a car or any other bad thing to happen. A light tone or vibration will teach the animal that leaving the authority of the owner brings some kind of discomfort.
There has been a ridiculous non-parenting philosophy from 30-40 years ago of a million other ways to raise a small child without any show of gracious and loving light force and it's raised generations of useful idiots who will now glue themselves to roads instead of laying down at the market kicking and screaming until they manipulate weak adults into their will.
Also, if you take away the constant momentary stimulus the attention can be relearned... turn the media deVICEs off and do something in nature.
The thing I don't like about it is that shock collars are also pretty fucked up. My friend is a dog trainer, and there are many ways to encourage a dog's behavior that isn't shock collars and choke chains. Encouragement through reward has been proven to be more beneficial to the dog rather than punishment.
Comparing "a light tone or vibration" is also a bit disingenuous to the video where it's a smack across the face, and other comments in here supporting the same.
show of gracious and loving light force
This is honestly scary sounding. Hitting a child isn't gracious, loving, or light.
I’ve sent that advice to a few people with the ‘tisms. “If you ever want to get rid of your superpower, there’s a chance that this might help you start healing, though it’s probably more effective in children. No guarantees, do your own research, it should be safe but you’ll have to confirm that yourself as well. I’m not a doctor and I eat crayons.”

Edit: oh look! a squirrel...

You are so right. With both animals and humans beings, being able to run as far and as fast as you can magically cures so many things

That’s the good life!
Yes. Excellent idea. It's a funny cartoon.
This is humurous. It's how my adhd became cptsd.
LOL
cptsd?

Or being told by your sperm donor that nothing you do is good enough.
I was going to say it doesnt work, I just went in my head more and became anxious.
The ADHD we had as kids way back when was promptly cured with a few smacks upside the head, or by large, slow-moving nuns carrying yardsticks 😜
Oh they whacked me enough time so I become brain dead. LOL

It is funny but back then, we all went thru that or most of us have.
Yup, I remember this treatment well.
Me three. My parents couldn't stand me and dad said send this kid to the military. They didn't even want me.

That is very true.

I was going to say about electronic devices.

Easier said than done. It’s actually not that easy to hit your baby in the face with force. It’s pretty guilt-inducing.
I wouldn't know but I can believe you.
Doesn't the Bible say that if you love your child you won't spare the rod and discipline them.
Yes. He who spares his rod hates his son, But he who loves him disciplines him promptly.
Proverbs 13:24
I think it's diet related... All this processed addictive food!
Electronics.
This post is funny and I love it.
