The Russian Z symbology comes from a Russian Olympic athlete, his name is failing me. But it roughly translates in original quoted context to "with great care for the world". It in itself is an anti war sentiment and the Z was worn at the Olympics as a gesture of peace and anti war protest.
Ironic that most of Europe now recognized it as a "hate symbol", which is totally protection of course. Haters gonna hate.
