This sucks because a) I really like Costco products/deals and b) there is no DEI evident in any of their stores. It isn't like Target with LGBTQIA+++Multicolorhomo mannequin parts of the store. And they ditched DEI.
They fired me cause I refused to get vaccinated and wouldn't wear a mask. No was would I let them treat me like a second class citizen. Quite the event.
Really sucks. I hated them for their stupid mask bs but other than that they haven’t been that woke and everyone that works there seems happy to be there.
I have seen a couple of DEI alphabet hires at our location. I'm going to start with emailing the company. We only joined last year, so I missed the pandemic stupidity I'm reading about here.
I like Costco because they don’t let anyone rob them, they check receipts, they keep costs down for the customers, the employees are happy and well compensated. I havent seen any crazy lbgtqxyz+ stuff or I would not shop there. If anything crazy comes to light, I will be the first to shop elsewhere. Money talks, bullshit walks.
Costco has been heading downhill since Covid imo. The food court used to be far superior to Sam’s club. Now, I will take Sam’s any day of the week.
The pizza is gross, the hot dogs are gross, chicken bake is gross, No more polish dogs. All the fresh bread in my Costco is like $4 - $8. They claim they are selling products at cost and their money comes from memberships, so how the hell did they spend $8 to sell us 1 loaf of bread? I can still make homemade large NY style pepperoni pizzas for less than $3 when ingredients are in bulk but Costco can’t figure out how to make a $1 baguette using flour, salt and yeast? Their food overall is costly as fuck besides the rotisserie chicken which is now in a bag. Sam’s still gives the plastic container.
Husband was hired as a software contractor engineer to help a massive failure of a project in the middle of last year. 95% Indian devs, project owner, and architects. We likely won't be renewing our membership this year. Oh and not to mention DEI is a reason why he went from having steady contract work to basically nothing these past two years.

Yes it does suck. I have a Sam’s Club, but they don’t have gas services
I think our Sam's club here in NC does. Gonna go check it out.
Member at both. I infinitely prefer Sam’s for most things. Obvious difference in who shops where, at least where I live.

Dumped Costco when they became the first mask nazis
I use Azure Standard for my bulk food shopping. No Costco mystery meat!
Stopped shopping at Costco when they became mask nazis. I understand it makes no difference to them, but I am much happier with Azure.
Love Azure.
Never heard of Azure
PNW, fully online store, deliveries to a local drop spot, many of them are at churches. Excellent customer service, clean products. AzureStandard.com

Apparently, 98% of shareholders voted in favour of DEI.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/yourmoney/consumer/article-14322773/costco-risks-wrath-donald-trump-dei.html
But, institutional shareholders own about 71.86% of the shares https://www.investopedia.com/articles/insights/061116/top-5-costco-shareholders-cost.asp of course including the usual suspects:
I like “Reverend” Al when he was a disgusting fat body. He seemed happier.
KEK, he looks like a bobble head
