Me too. Back when I was in college and worked in restaurants, it was a known joke that when the kitchen guys were being assholes, run in there and yell ICE! That was back when illegals had a healthy fear of ICE. We're bringing back that fear.

They should start randomly raiding hotel shelters once or twice a week. It would get the numbers up quickly, stop our money from being further wasted and send a message to all illegals around the country that even if they aren't convicted criminals, they could be next. This might incentivize more to to self-deport. Start with Chicago and New York.
Trouble is, our prison system might be preferable to wherever they might self-deport to.
That's not our problem. The criminals have choices, so choose!
Yeah, but you don't want to incentivize them committing crimes.
They either commit crimes and get to stay here in prison, or they commit crimes, get deported and are more or less absolved of any crime they committed here.
If you're here illegally, why would you NOT be out there doing whatever heinous things you felt like doing?
who is running these shelters? a private company? an NGO? the city? state? federal govt?

When the money is completely gone supporting these shelters, the hotels and shelters will have to throw everyone out.
Who did the directing? The one paper is dated January 13, so before Trump took office.
Liberals are basing their actions around slow-walking the Feds, stalling and keeping ICE agents waiting in the front lobby.
ICE will have court orders and warrants ready.
Secretary: "Wait here while I call the manager. Meanwhile, you all need to sign the guest book and watch our 15 minute safety video. Then I'll need to see IDs and any court documents."
ICE: "Stand aside or be arrested. Ok... everyone keep going. Round up everyone you see and move them to this lobby. Search the building and move everyone here. We'll check IDs here. Everyone without ID goes into temporary custody while we check fingerprint scans, and facial recognition scans. Go!"
Secretary: "Wait. We need you to..."
ICE: "Sit here. One more word and you are under arrest."
Lock just one of these people up and this will end immediately.
That's a felony. We are going to have to build new prisons at this rate.
