UFC is a big reason why every country south of the Rio Grade is or has been a dumpster fire for more than a century. All those countries should be stable, prosperous republics modeled after the US but these arseholes repeatedly fucked them over for profit.
In a way, all these illegals coming into our country are the chickens coming home to roost. UFC and CIA are two sides of the same coin; they want to keep South American countries as shit holes because it's easier to control them and steal their resources that way. Any plebe protesting against the CIA-supported government gets a visit from a death squad. If they're on the first tier of the justice system they get the Trump/Bolsonaro treatment.

There is a horrendous fact check of RFKs secret service protection being blocked that tries to imply that it was too early for him to get it, but all it ends up showing is how nearly every candidate that the media defers to already has protection from family or the prior admin.

My old parish had an elderly visiting priest from Catalan who was researching corruption with one of the presidents and Dole Fruit. I think he was writing a book. He'd buy a car up here (NY) and drive diwn every summer to do research. Wish I could remember more.
