They are putting the scare into all the assholes saying they would quit if Trump was elected. They are pushing their panic button, and at the time giving those really crazy enough to give up a good job over their TDS an easy way to leave.
They really want some of them out, and those they want out that don't take the offer will in time get another offer that involves them bending over. kek
Haven’t yet found any actual sauce on this yet, if anyone does please share.

If you choose to stay, and aren't willing or capable of performing the requirements of the job, it won't take very long to find yourself out on the street. We are going to MAGA, one way or the other.
This is risky, to be honest. There are really good and talented federal workers... what if they are the ones who decide to leave?
In all honesty, this could result in the precipice. Do you realize what services would stop, along with the funding freeze?
Don't get me wrong... I am all for the overhaul of gov. But there is a way to do it over 6-12 months, not a shock and awe tactic that ruins the lives and good workers and their families.
Furthermore, people will need time and money to learn new skills to become employees in the economy, especially if they are trying to replace their income and benefits.
Prepare accordingly. Major depression and clusterfuck on the horizon if a lot of people take the offer, combined with thefrozen funding. Seriously, this is not a popcorn thing. I am very surprised.
I’ll take the shock and awe. What this corrupt government has created is not sustainable. It was never sustainable. Burn the whole thing down! If you’re on this board and are not prepared for what’s coming…you should rectify that situation ASAP.
If they are smart enough to take it. I bet a lot of the dumb and bad ones will think they can hide... and, don't forget that if they are shitty fed workers then they probably don't want to have to go look for a real job. The bigger irsk is that smart and good fed workers will take the offer and high-tail it out of their fed job so as to avoid the chaos, and to find good employment elsewhere. It's risky, which is my only point, really. I just would have done it smarter.
This high performing fed is considering the offer...although there is incentive for me to stay until the end of March 2026 to collect my full pension without any penalty.
I sincerely appreciate that thoughtful reply. Many assume that we're all "deadwood" -- and I can assure you (and have the annual assessments to back it up) that I have been an over-and-above performer for 20+ years now in fed gov't service. Again...TY. :)
If they're good and honest workers, then they probably wouldn't want to resign.
They have to option to cut, run and get out of the way or be apart of something great. Simple as.
If they are good, then they're smart and they will see this charlie foxtrot in the making and they will bail and find gainful employment elsewhere.
Ifthey are dolts, they don't want to leave because they know they cannot make it in the real world. So they will be too scared to leave.
Edit: and we see this all the time in the private sector, especially during mergers, or when slow times occur... the talent leaves ahead of the turmoil.
Your logic is sound, just a wee bit simple. Add a layer of complexity: What about patriots who intend to keep the oath they took to serve the USofA? There are more of those than we hear about.
Interesting take. I disagree, as this is not the private sector but the government of the most powerful country on the planet, that just got a stimulus in the form of a new President that isn't playing around.
I don't follow your point. What is it that I am saying that I don't know about and is therefore not real? I stated/implied that as a fed contractor I have experience with talented and committed fed employees. I am not saying that your statement is wrong. I'm stating what I've experienced. So I don't follow your point, exactly.
I was really surprised there are 2 million government workers (2 million democrat votes) tbh.. that's like really weird and scary.
Not in my office—but I see your point generally. Kek
That's a pretty broad brush you have there, fren

Yes, I found it and put it comments, but thank you so much for finding and sharing it! I appreciate it! 😊

Oh, I'm prepared. But there are way too many who are not. How many are on this Board? 100K? That's not even a drop in the ocean.
And shock and awe could have still been acheived without it risking so much else.
But, I'm prepared, and I'm ready for those who are not. Buckle up.
I also think that this 8 day deadline will expose just how many “fake” employees we’ve been paying…
If they are smart enough to take it. It must be a challenging decision. I wish you the best in your discernment process, and thank you for being a dedicated fed employee.

They can hide because they're all in on it together. That's one of the problems with this gambit by Trump and team.
If they're good and honest workers, then they probably wouldn't want to resign. They have to option to cut, run and get out of the way or be apart of something great. Simple as.
Your logic is backwards.
If they are good, then they're smart and they will see this charlie foxtrot in the making and they will bail and find gainful employment elsewhere.

That's something I absolutely agree with. Let's hope they are not too dismayed by the chaos.
Interesting take. I disagree, as this is not the private sector but the government of the most powerful country on the planet, that just got a stimulus in the form of a new President that isn't playing around.
The "good and talented federal workers" are really quite rare. It is a culture of waste and ineptitude.
t. former federal contractor
Current fed contractor, and my experience is different.
Just because you don't know about it doesn't mean it's not real.
