My #FreePalestine friends (a lot of you show up in my feeds, probably because I’m so pro-peace) have been keeping me informed of the war horrors in Gaza since shortly after the tragic Hamas attack on Israel 10/7/23. The Gaza bombing endured for years while Biden and Congress continued to fund Israel’s retaliatory genocide. For two years the Gaza bombs have devastated innocent lives while our nation’s leadership seemed either powerless—or worse, complicit—in stopping the mass-slaughter.
Then Trump stepped back onto the world stage.
In a historic press conference alongside Netanyahu (arguably the man most-responsible for deploying all the bombs), Trump described in detail the unimaginable suffering of Palestinian civilians—families living under rubble, children starving—while Bibi just smirked and clutched the podium in stone-faced silence.
Then Trump said: Sorry Bibi, but you can’t hurt these people anymore. Palestinian families will be reunited, Gaza will be rebuilt, beautifully, and U.S. troops are moving in to ensure these people are safe from y’alls bombs. Oh, and Israel isn’t getting the land. Period.
And just like that, Trump ended another war.
So… who’s ready to get on the #TrumpTrain?
After Trump’s first term, I realized I had just lived through the first US president in my entire life to go his whole 4-year term without starting a new war that kills/displaces millions of foreign humans. For that reasons I’ve said for the last 4 years that I would crawl through broken glass to vote for Trump again. World peace is my “issue” by several degrees of magnitude. Probably because I worship the Prince of Peace. But I digress.

Trump just solved a problem the Left has been complaining about for YEARS, and the fact it takes a future land grab out of Israel's hands is icing on the cake!
I read what you said and I take it to heart. But there is one word you said toward the end of your statement that hit me hardest.

It was never fair to the Palestinians what The Rothschild did and after getting away with it they became greedy and wanted more land while promoting wars between the 2 people. The only ones who benefit from this war and death are the people in charge for their own pockets and ambitions, while the people from both side just wanted peace and for Palestinians justice and retaliation because their land WAS stolen! I really hope God is working through President Trump for the best long term solution for the regular people there who just want to live a normal life and be happy and safe with their families with clean water and a roof over their head. I pray they will all learn to forgive one another and move on from this dark chapter of their lives.

Well Israel is more obvious than Saudi, IMO. How many in Congress have dual citizenship? And even the ones who don’t almost all have Israeli handlers. Taking on “our greatest ally” (uhg) would be political suicide and make him a lame duck with no support. He knows he’s gotta work with the hand he was dealt.
I know almost all of the Congress have dual citizenship with Israel which I don’t like it at all.
I say this with absolute respect- how do we prevent a repeat? THAT is the question. How do we not only stop all the reindeer games now but prevent them later. What happened in the Hamas attack was disgraceful and disgusting what happened since also disgraceful and disgusting. How do we possibly get civilians off the list of acceptable targets in ANY war? I too would prefer that war be a no go period but it seems the use of civilians as targets has escalated much more in the last few decades. At least BEFORE people pretended it was an accident and not the front line attack. I hate what is happening to the children and just like they did in England during ww2 I would support “ temporary “ asylum for for children in war zones ( unpopular I know but not talking about the much abused version of today) but I believe that should apply to the children on both sides. Given the horrific way children are misused today the whole concept is likely not possible. What I do not believe in is that not one more DROP of our military blood be spilt on foreign soil that is not a direct defense of our home. Since BEFORE we were a country every generation of my family has been expected to serve and have served. War is a horror and the last to want one is a soldier because they have intimate knowledge. I genuinely don’t care who is who and who did what anymore because that has been abused so badly. I no longer believe in the concept of a “just” war. So I ask why do we have the right to say what is and is not just and how do we escape THAT assignment so we can genuinely focus on building a better tomorrow here. I am not sure a GAZA takeover is the answer but I do trust that President Trump has a reason. His motivation is proven to be far far more in line with taking care of our best interest than those given the office in generations-likely since JFK. I don’t like it tbh but I also know the 5d chess is unrivaled so I am watching with baited popcorn breath to see how the boss is gonna use this. I admit I definitely didn’t have this one on my bingo card. If nothing else watching the free Palestine cuz it’s the new cool thing hypocrites spinning like tops is entertaining.

I keep reminding myself that all tools are necessary to do the job and use of force is a tool. I am curious to see the diplomatic team in play for sure. This is what we asked him to do and he is getting it done. Praying a lot for peace but we all know the real war isn’t something that can be not fought. Changing the system that abused the sacrifice of way too many good people THAT is a fight worth fighting for certain
I feel you. When I first watched and heard him say we would send troops, I felt like PTSD kicked in and I had flashbacks to Dubya announcing his Iraq war. Then I spent several hours praying about it and thinking it through and I just don’t see Trump sacrificing our troops like his criminal predecessors. It seems obvious to me that he’s posturing…saying what he needs to say to get what he wants like he always does. He’s negotiating peace. Big picture: the war is over and so far he ended the bombing without sacrificing troops. Let’s see what happens next. Maybe they’ll send an army of Elon’s robots to keep the peace. lol sad that I’m only half kidding.
