I am asking the same question. If I were President, I would tell those judges to take it up to the Supreme Court, otherwise take your gavel and insert it where the sun don't shine sideways.
I am pretty sure that they have zero authority over this stuff. I expect Trump to ignore them or do a little hand waving to confuse them as to what he is doing.

I wish he would come out today and say "we are appealing this - if we win and you didnt resign by our deadline, you are out of luck." But imo, he wont fight the extension.
