Instead of ruining the Girl Scouts by programming good corporate slave girls with their crack cookie sales being THE most important component they could I don’t know add in some actual scouting????? Teach girls what they obviously want bad enough to go running to the Boy Scouts for. How to camp and fish and be competent at what their ancestral mothers did and Let the boys keep their high adventure and overcoming obstacles that are tailored for them and the girls the same. Additionally for the love of Mike keep them SEPARATE!!!! In addition to the obvious ( how long until THOSE stories come out) teens don’t function right in the presence of the opposite sex. The boys get braggy and obnoxious then careless and the girls get self conscious and shrink back or bossy and obnoxious then mean for the most part and neither get to learn about themselves or how to be part of a team.
In the Philippines the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts is Join, pay dues, buy uniform, have a scouting sleepover typically at a school, then see you next year.
Sad because it can actually be used to give kids a lot of skills and REAL confidence but that also requires real leadership and not cash cow corporates

Folks already have- boys are in Trail Life and the girls are in American Heritage Girls. And they all do the good stuff.
