Sorry but I gotta call this out. Dodge Rams are incredibly expensive so ask your self why someone is rolling to the liquor store in what can easily cost more than a BMW? A Ram is a towing beast ( especially the type you describe) When you see someone rolling to the liquor store in a truck that offends you- I see a working class dude who is either seeking a way to self medicate ( the physical or emotional pain of too many hours for not enough pay but never enough to buy time for what will bring genuine health and happiness ) OR someone potentially buying supplies for a well earned get together. Are there exceptions yep but for the most part those you assume are just driving around to pollute are likely using that truck to provide. The elites like to pretend they don’t need what those trucks produce-but they can’t function without. Beef, Oil, and Testosterone . It takes Elon size Huevos to do the kind of jobs those trucks often require. ( Have you ever met a coward welder? And you won’t) Sometimes those days require some wild turkey to forget you gotta do it again. Please don’t buy into the narrative against the working class. The reason the elites want them painted as the bad guys is that the workers want autonomy and are the very least likely to bend the knee. They are often not at all like the stereotypes portrayed in media. I have known Hellcats with off the chart IQs but had one honest out from grinding poverty and they took it . They five all they have everyday so their children have a better life that man can buy what ever he wants for himself on occasion IMHO including liquor which I do not imbibe. These men will happily embrace what gives those children a healthier life. They just refuse to believe the “experts “ on what that is. We are all literally the same in this. Diesel stinks but it takes less to get the kind of pulling power that hauls those cables to hook up to Tesla charging stations. When another option that is 100 % reliable comes available trust and believe they will take it. They would love to spend less of their pay that causes literal pain every morning (before you even hit 30 but got 30 more years before the mortgage in the good school district or on the family land is paid. )Those loud stinking trucks are the lifeblood of a people who are currently delivering a chance of achieving what the Prius kids could NEVER do alone. They already put their money and lifeblood where their mouth was. This movement would not have happened without the working man vote and the resistance they gave BEFORE it was cool. We will need EVERY one of us to make this happen. Respectfully I Just thought you might want some perspective to counter the narrative we have all been fed.
Not talking about actual working men who drive diesel trucks because they NEED them. Working man here...with a 3500 diesel. Bone stock. Just leave it alone. What am I gonna do, crank up the boost on a $100k truck and blow it up? That's dumb. Buy a bike or Vette.
I'm talking about the jerkoffs with tow mirrors that stick out 3 fking feet into opposing traffic, with non-factory chrome rims, and limo black tinted windows, and loud muffler delete, calvin pissing sticker, rolling coal like a little gerbil jit boi. His dad bought it for him. He's NOT a working man. THAT'S who I mean. I hope you're not standing up for that guy. The same guy drives around purposely crop dusting pedestrians (women and children) waiting to cross the street.
Probably won't be as much of a problem going forward...Stellantis is in trouble, with declining sales and profits, and an oversupply of vehicles nobody wants. No more v8 trucks. 6cyl that are in the shop because they can't get them to run right, no Charger or Challenger. What a mess.
I misinterpreted your comment. Without context it seemed like a judgement on the entire Ram crowd. I am glad you took the time to provide that context because I am sure like you the painting everyone with a certain tow capacity with the same brush is BEYOND irritating. Te boys with glass packs and no understanding of how their engines work are DEFINITELY not who I am willing to stand up for. Darwin Award nominee’s are not included in my previous rant perhaps I too needed to provide context lol
Whew glad we are on the same side fren.
I didn’t realize the Stellantis issues. Wistful for the days of great American Made bullet proof cars. My dad is planning on helping the kid learn to wrench and doing a build once the boy is feeling better. I was a terrible student too hard headed so glad some skills won’t disappear thanks to me being too oblivious to that gift. You can’t appreciate what you don’t work for and if the boy wants one he has to build it. My Dad is a wealth of wisdom.
I do believe they are the ones that make your property theirs when you have a pond (or what they consider a pond) and they won't allow you to build, dig, or tear up a tree, because of the environment. These are bureaucrats that make laws outside of the congress and no one does anything about it. Sounds like the adults have entered the EPA.
Zeldin is trying to be cute by equating the Biden Administration with the Titanic and wasted money as Gold Bars. Many people, including my 83 year old brother, are taking this literally. It took a half hour to convince him that a ship crew didn’t actually throw gold bars overboard. He finally understood that this was an improper electronic transfer of 20 billion dollars by Biden officials in the final days before Trump took office. As he left, I heard him muttering “why the hell don’t people just say what they mean”. I have to agree with him. In a perverse way, the use of hyperbole softens the impact of the story.
EPA another recently created unneeded agency for the purpose of money-laundering and harassing American citizens and businesses.
"EPA was created on December 2, 1970, by President Richard Nixon to protect human health and the environment."
True...I HATE the EPA...
However, y'all remember when leaded fuel runoff was so bad, it was poisoning fish in the rivers?
I sure don't like aholes in their Darge Ram with 3 foot wide tow mirrors and a lift driving to the liquor store rolling coal like a jerkofff tho...

Cheers fren!
I am retired and have a RAM 3500 dually. 'I need it' to haul my 27,000 pound fifth wheel cross country. Anything less won't suffice.
The dream. Sigh. Someday.
...or you could upgrade to a Ford. 😄
Thought about. ALOT lol
Yeah there are some benefits if it was kept as a severely stripped down agency with a strict mission and a tight leash.

I'm finding all the recent references to "gold" and "the Titanic" very intriguing.
Yes!
I often wonder the connection between Trump, the Astors and the Waldorf Astoria

🚨The Biden EPA tossed $20 billion of “gold bars off the Titanic”.
BIG UPDATE! We found the gold bars and they are now being recovered for you, the hardworking American taxpayer.
The Bye-Done administration should at least get some lead for an appropriate exchange...
Put a rush on that lead.
Rush = ft/s
James O'Keefe may have just saved us $20B. Nice work.
