My understanding is the US Postal Service played a part in the stolen election.
He can't make it worse
I worked there for thirty years with some in management. The Postal Service is the best example of how not to run a business. Every single decision is political from the lowest position to the highest. I remember training over thirty years ago and in my class was a man dressed in lace and makeup, carrying a purse. At that moment I realized something was really really wrong.
My daughter tried to get in. I was quite happy they didn't like her answers on the self assessment they make you take. Or it could have been because she is straight and white. I think she would have been miserable there anyways.
I had a small package leave TX for WV on Jan 20. It took 8 days to get to Indianapolis where it sat for three weeks because "weather". It finally got a tracking update today, although still in Indianapolis.
I could practically have walked to Texas myself and back and still had it faster.
I worked for USPS for a stint, and I feel it's worth mentioning here that we were required to take the oath to defend against all enemies (foreign and domestic). Imagine taking that oath, and then facilitating election fraud...
Funny enough I wanted to work there because I expected that since they were such an established and historical institution, they would "have their shit together" and I could expect a fair career path and climb the ladder justly. I ended up leaving because it was such a total shitshow, where my coworkers would happily dish their work onto everybody else and seemingly fight to do as little as possible. Fuck USPS
The USPS can be compared to Luddites these days, so LFG !
My older sister, started her career in the USPS. Later, she gave her life to Christ. She worked up to postmaster, and treated the people with respect and expected them to work. The higher-ups couldn't figure out why - as she worked her way up to larger sites, that she left a trail of high-performing offices. Eventually they rotated her around to train other offices how to improve their results. It's amazing how following Biblical principles produces excellent results.
But there is only one way to be saved and that's through Jesus Christ.
I am a long time reseller. People on r/behindtheclosetdoor (Poshmark) are and r/flipping are freaking out terrified that this is the end for them. Posh has a sweet deal with the post office - everything up to 5lbs ships for $7.99. It would be disasterous if this goes. I wouldn't mind the disappearance of copious junk mail. Some years ago there was a dig on the po - 60 Minutes? exploring the massive real estate holdings and exorbitant perks for po execs. I hope this what they will go after.
Have DOGE Calculate how much time, effort, and resources, are wasted throwing away all the garbage mail we get every day.
Can't opt out of it. Can't request a block on it. Can't put a DnD no Solicitation notice on our home addresses.
But what we can do is pay garbage and recycling services fees for the increased waste generated for nothing.
I heat my home with it via fireplace, stop Saturday delivery
