Totally. I worked for the Federal Government several years ago. Many of the jobs are jobs for life. It's difficult to impossible to fire anyone and some take advantage of that for years, then retire.

I continued to nail her with no mercy especially when she said , I still like Obama! Thanks to this board I was able to nail her hard and I brought receipts ! We are close, we love each other and usually never talk politics for this reason , but this day was a hard one for her . All was good the next day , but I agree with you ! They are friggin nuts and no matter what happens they will find a reason to be against it . Totally agree with you 100 percent !
Its more about finding the people who dont respond because they dont exist and are just a fake employee. The people who take advantage of this know who they are and know whats at stake for them.
I have a feeling that what is going on behind the scenes is different than what we're allowed to know. But what they are allowing us to see/know is, in my opinion, bad optics. It's just giving people more to not like about Trump. I have friends who were TDS, and then started coming around, and then in the last 2 weeks have gone total TDS because of what they call his pettiness and Musk's pettiness. Why can't our team just take the high road and get real shit done and not have to make a silly, demoralizing, dividing show of everything?

Many people in consultative roles literally have daily timesheets. They have to record what they did and if the time was billable to a client or not. It also shows whether or not they need to hire. No one thinks twice about it.
