It's for honorable enrichment. That's the only legit information. The whole maritime law bs has been addressed ad nauseum by the courts. Not everything you see in the web is true. Now if you'll excuse me, it's time for morning muster!
internet has been wiped of a LOT of useful information. Im with you, and can no longer find info I had found previously. I sure hope they bring back a stronger internet for research its become a shithole third world internet for people that dont have all day to search.
Should I post the court decisions? Orbare those decisions of a captured corporate maritime court and therefore invalid against the word of the internet board?
I'm unclear on all of this myself and would like to understand it. I would suggest putting a call out to one of our more knowledgeable frens, like u/#thisishowitstarts or u/#bubble_bursts.
Allow me to exemplify this from a perspective of a stateflag without fringe: The Dutch flag has no fringe. Never has, ever.
Yet, when Defense Minister was giving a speech over at Atlantic Council, the Dutch flag was fringed with yellow. Let me tell you that during WOII, there was no yellow fringe. However, just before the Ukraine war, the fringe came on the scene. There is no law requiring such. And since the state can only do something within the law, such a display = unlawful.
Ukraine began to show its Presidential flag with a fringe, And even Russia did so.
Hence = Fringe = state of war.
A ball = meeting. Just check the G7 in Japan. Japan flagpole = ball. The other flag = spear.
Inauguration ball of a new commander in chief 2025: all flag = spear.
So, yes, it is decoration, as it transmits the conditions for contract.
Incorrect. It only happened with the Presidential Seal, and only because certain presidents wanted a change (turned one way, then back again). It has no significance.

Really? I saw some pretty thorough explanations about it back in the day though I can’t seem to find it now

Truth:
A gold fringe indicates that Admiralty law has jurisdiction, not national law.
Admiralty law is the law of the sea, i.e. British Law.

War Castles
Someone on here said the gold fringes represent America the Corporation.
And they would be wrong.
It is said to be decorative ......

At least from Civics, when it was taught, the Eagle's head is turned toward the arrows in it's tallons, in a state of war.
