The lease referred to is for the temporary storage location of the documents and gifts etc. obama obtained during his time in office. The monolith being consrtucted in Chicago is not affected by this. The timing of the lease termination is not clear but it is expected to coincide with the contents moving to the permanent library in Chicago.

Thank you for this context. Framing the discussion as "MAGA/Trump/DOGE got Obama's Presidential Library lease canceled!" Just makes the leftists cries of uncompassionate & hateful MAGA mindset much more easy to believe.
Defunding a temporary storage location to expidite moving items to the permanent location is perfectly reasonable.

I tend to agree. Though it makes me wonder how much money was laundered under the guise of construction funding, or if most of it went to building a basement/dungeon... possibly for said hotdogs...
No idea really, just speculation & it makes more sense to be a money laundering thing with delayed building, though I wouldn't be suprised to find that there was a secret storage room for walnut sauce & hotdogs. Cheese pizza might be a Clinton Library thing... not saying it is a thing... I just wouldn't be suprised.
Yup, hoping someday obummer's corruption/treason will be exposed such that his library is closed and sold or repurposed, perhaps as a "traitors of the US" museum.
They could turn it into a prison. Chiraq probably can use it.
